As of Book 1, set in 2399, Pablo’s search probes have been searching for his missing fiancée for 91 years.

An illegal invisibility nacelle allow drones to do their work undetected. A communications hub transmits daily reports. A 1mm – 6m lens camera is able to photograph infrared, UV, and visible spectra at ultra-high resolution to a distance of several hundred thousand kilometers.

It also includes housing for an in-house repair nanite swarm, which can be used for fast, in situ reconfiguration and reconstruction.
